How our research works

Every piece on DeskFlows is built from primary sources: official release notes, current pricing pages, product documentation, and practitioner reports from productivity forums and communities. We verify pricing figures directly against vendor pages and note the verification date on every post.

Template reviews disclose their examination scope explicitly. Where a template has a public preview, free tier, or demo page, we examine it directly. Paid templates without a public preview are assessed from documented feature claims, third-party community reviews, and creator track records — this is stated clearly in each relevant review. We do not claim hands-on purchase and extended use unless that is specifically what occurred.

Posts are updated when vendors ship meaningful changes. The update date appears at the top of revised posts. If a recommendation stops being accurate, we change it.

How this site makes money

Two ways: display advertising, and affiliate commissions when you sign up for a tool through our links (at no extra cost to you). Monetization does not determine verdicts — several well-regarded tools we cover have no affiliate program at all. The full policy is in our affiliate disclosure.
